What is the Zipit2?

The Zipit 2 is a small handheld Linux running device originally meant for instant messaging and was developed by Zipit Wireless. It runs on a Marvell Xscale chip and comes with 32MB of RAM and 8MB of flash. It also has a Marvell 802.11B/G for its networking, 320×240 TFT LCD, speaker/headphone out, and a miniSD card slot. In addition, it has an expansion port in the back that will allow custom hardware to be attached.
